About Me
I grew up in the Chicago-area and began my career in the global non-profit sector - first in education, then in micro-finance and lastly, hunger relief.
Creating meaningful, positive change in communities-local and global-has always been my north star. After trying unsuccessfully for years to transition from the non-profit sector to corporate, finally through some pivots, lots of preparation, and a bit of serendipity, I landed in my dream sector of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). For the last ten years, I have led all aspects of DEI, which often includes coaching leaders and teams. Currently, I cover DEI learning and development for an S&P 500 manufacturing company, with over 8,000 employees.
I love a blank slate! During my time in DEI, I have had to build from scratch, with no roadmap or plan. Through grit, determination, a sense of adventure and faith, I have developed a reputation for creating programs and initiatives with lasting power - that stick - long after I have moved on to my next role.
The belief that anything is possible and a deep understanding of the law of attraction and the art of manifestation continue to guide me, both personally and professionally.
